Wellness Articles
Over the years, I've written many wellness articles for popular magazines like Shape, FitPregnancy , Men's Health and many others. I've also had Mind over Fatter views featured in O magazine, Readers Digest and many others. My aim though in creating this category for wellness articles is to seek out obesity research and information about weight loss that you can't readily find out anywhere else. Sometimes I'll be putting together bits of research that you may not normally think belong together to perhaps come to a conclusion that isn't a conventional one. With these articles, I want to stir up your thinking, I want to introduce you to ideas you possibly haven't contemplated before and hopefully lead you to a few 'aha moments' where you think: "Oh my gosh, why haven't we heard about this before!" But a word of warning - if you aren't open to looking at things in new ways... well you may want to skip this section!
The value of this is that looking at research in an unconventional way can often lead us to different conclusions - something other than the age old: eat less and exercise more paradigm. Frankly, I admit it sounds oh so logical - but let's just face it, we're getting fatter and I think there are other factors to take into account.
However, because the whole focus of the ditch-diets-live-light website is health-gain (that possibly leads to natural weight loss) rather than weight-loss (that possibly but not always leads to health gain), these wellness articles will all have your health and well-being, rather than your thin-being in mind.
