Don't focus on weight loss advice alone
Diet myth #1: Following weight loss advice
Now I know that what I'm about to say goes against conventional wisdom - but it's putting the cart before the horse to simply follow some diet-weight-control-plan just to get thin. 101 weight loss tips are a dime a dozen! They're what you don't want, they're often what erode your health.

If your definition of 'works' is weight loss at any cost - then sure all diet products 'work'.
But you can't just focus on losing weight. For something to really work, we need to look for methods that result in
healthy minds
AND healthy bodies.
Please note, I'm not just talking about physical wellness, I'm talking about psycholgical health and mental well-being as well. Most weight loss advice doesn't even touch on those.
Strive for a healthy Mind & Body
It's easier than you think to follow so-called 'easy weight loss plans' (um...not that there's much easy about restricting and depriving yourself in my book) and be
less healthy both mentally
and physically than before you started the diet.
You can lose 10 pounds on those fad diets and really have succeeded only in converting your body into a more efficient fat storaging container. Read more about this in
diet myth # 8
- how following weight loss advice can change your body composition in way that that isn't good for your health, diet or fitness.
But please hear this before you run me off planet earth as some kind of wacko for telling you not to turn to dieting.
All I'm saying is that if you're 100% convinced you really do need to lose weight then the best weight loss program is one that makes weightloss a side effect of gaining a healthy mind and body and not the other way around. The focus always needs to on doing 'what is healthy' rather than just 'what loses weight'.
Diet Pills aren't a healthy mind and body solution

Much weight loss advice from diet pill companies promise 'easy
weight loss'. What they don't tell you is that they also have powerful ingredients in them like psuedo-ephedrine which affect your sympathetic nervous system and can play havoc with the health of your mind and body.
This is why they aren't a healthy mind and body solution. From
first hand experience I know they have some pretty heinous side
effects. When I was hooked on diet pills my heart and thoughts raced , I was sweaty and couldn't sleep. And that was just what I could notice, what about what was really going on in my cells that I coudln't see?
Be sceptical about weight loss advice that comes from a company that relies on selling it's weight loss tools to survive.

We are seeing drug companies being sued in record numbers
because so-called cures, instead of leading to a healthy mind and body are causing other diseases and even death?
In his CD series, The Wisdom of our Cells, Dr. Bruce Lipton quotes research finding that medicine is one the leading causes of death in the USA. People are dying from medical treatment – it’s lethal.
And then there is another whole though-provoking argument to be put forwards by the law of attraction, the secret messages of water, our molecules of emotions and quantum field healing. Click here to read more about that.
Diet pills
are also expensive - and let's face it,do you really want to put some of their unhealthy ingredients into your body?
I predict that we haven't even begun to realize quite how high is the cost of weight loss pills. And I'm not just talking about the money I spent. I shudder to think what harm I managed to do to my mind and body health during my 10 years of diet pill addiction.
And don't be fooled by weight loss advice that advertises "safe weight loss pills" either. Who knows whats really safe? The drugs that are now being withdrawn once upon a time had controlled studies done and had to go through FDA approval.
That drug companies are being sued shows us that even FDA approval didn't mean they were healthy for minds and bodies. Don't take them - they are harmful. (There may be a reason you really need them - please consult with your own medical professional)
