Lake Como Nudist Resort FL

In all my 50 years the thought never occurred to me to go naked. But my brother moved to Lake Como Nudist Resort and invited us to visit. We didn't know they were Nudists. I said, "Sure". He was surprised and reiterated that it's a Nudist Resort. I replied that I don't have a problem with Nude - we just aren't Beach People; we try to avoid excessive exposure to sun. I didn't want him to be disappointed with us. My husband said "Less Luggage"; I said "Less Laundry!"
We stripped down in our motel room and assembled our tote bag with the requisite towels, bottle of water and sunscreen. I was so naked, I forgot my sandals! It was easy being a couple and easiest seeing other naked people on the way to the pool.
My brother assembled his nudie friends for dinner to meet us. I asked "What do you have to do to be officially a Nudist?" They replied - you're doing it!
When the temps were 70s, we went for the shade; 80s we went indoors; 90s we went back to our air conditioned room for a nap.
But when the sun went down the bugs came out! My husband suggested the next time, we go somewhere less hot, less bug-y.
Our next time was at White Tail Resort in Ivor, VA on Columbus Day weekend. We were there for their annual Tattoo and Piercing Event. That was fascinating to see people pay to be tortured. We got to watch for free! Seems backwards.
We signed on with AANR after our first experience!
