So you're interested in DIETS THAT WORK? 
Hmmmm -- diets that work! It's an interesting idea given how much research says that healthy weight loss is elusive and that diets don't work. However, before we leap to an assumption, that we should ditch diets because they're all dieting fads, let's define the word 'works.' If by 'works' you mean merely 'losing weight,' then I have to admit that almost ALL diets 'work.' Then, the faster we lose, the better the diet is working - right? Wrong! Very wrong! All those fad diets do is to make us unhealthier! How much money, time and energy have you wasted on ridiculous diets, diet programs, diet products that all claim to be diets that work,only to find that years down the track you still aren't the Slenderella they promised you, you'd be? And you can't stop dieting? Now if the question was which diets work for developing eating disorders, and making us fatter...well I could give you an endless list -all the same miracle cures the diet industry insists work easily, effortlessly and overnight. If losing weight, especially quickly, is your only requirement, you're probably not ready for the weight loss secrets from Ditch Diets! Let me say straight up: weight loss alone isn't vaguely enough for a diet to qualify for the 'Diets that work hall of fame.' If weight loss ss all you're looking for, frankly, you're aiming too low.
- If you can't maintain a healthy weight loss without following some eating regime forever, it hasn't worked.
- If it restricts, deprives or tells you what or when to eat - you aren't living naturally and it hasn't worked unless that's how you'd choose to live forever.
- If it hasn't freed you from a fear of regaining what you've lost - it can't be counted amongst diets that work.
- If it hasn't helped you work out the underlying issues for why you were eating - it hasn't worked.
- If it hasn't helped you enjoy an active lifestyle - it hasn't worked and nor is it a healthy weight loss.
- If it hasn't helped you fall more in like with yourself - it hasn't worked because you'll never be able to stop dieing.
- If it hasn't freed you from a dieting mentality - it hasn't worked. If you still find yourself reading everything you can on weight loss it can't claim status as one of the diets that work.
- It it hasn't left you with making healthier nutritional and exercising choices because you 'want to' and not because you 'have to' - it hasn't worked.
- If you still think of food and your body as enemies instead of friends - it hasn't worked. If you can't go anywhere, be faced with any food without anxiety, then it's time to ditch diets and stop dieting.
- If you still fear the scale - it hasn't worked.
All diets focus on the wrong end of the equation. A diet, by definition, has to do with monitoring what we eat. And while eating is certainly one part of the equation - it's the wrong place to start.

Let's get something straight.... DIETS THAT WORK DON'T EXIST if they did the multi-billion diet industry would be out of business!! And their coffers wouldn't be getting fatter along with um.... US!
